Main Project Features
The study aimed to support programme formulation and evaluation capacity building for the Government of Kazakhstan including preparation of programme design and evaluation manuals, preparation and delivery of training to civil servants and running the logical framework programme evaluation tool for three sectoral programmes (both ongoing and under development).
Activities Performed
Assisted the Ministry of Economy and Budgetary Planning of Kazakhstan in the implementation of a performance monitoring and evaluation system. Prepared and conducted several training sessions for civil servants on a result-based project and programme design and evaluation. Co-authored programme formulation and evaluation manuals and developed an adaptation of logical framework tools for the Government of Kazakhstan.
