I am a transport and infrastructure executive and strategic advisor based in Astana, Kazakhstan, with more than 25 years of professional experience since 1998. I advise governments, international financial institutions, United Nations agencies and industry leaders on transport policy, strategy and investment preparation across Central and Western Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.

My work focuses on regional connectivity, including the CAREC corridors and the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor). Assignments cover transport and logistics policy and strategy, corridor and connectivity studies, toll road feasibility and road sector development, railway sector and market analysis, ports and shipping, infrastructure for critical minerals development, institutional development and procurement. I have contributed to more than 40 projects and studies for clients including the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, UNESCAP, FAO and USAID. Alongside my advisory work, I have held commercial and executive positions with world-leading designers, developers and manufacturers of railway rolling stock and rail vehicle systems, as well as locomotive assembly joint ventures. This combination of public-sector advisory and industry experience enables me to link policy objectives with technical, commercial and operational realities.

I hold a diploma degree in economics and a master’s degree in transport.
