Main Project Features
The study aimed to conduct an ex-post evaluation of the JICA-financed Kazakhstan Railway Sector Development Project. It included the collection of data and information about the current status of equipment and facilities purchased under the ODA loan, visiting Almaty Coach Repair Facility, visiting Dostyk railway station at the Chinese border, meetings with railway authorities, customs and logistic operators, and other stakeholders of the project.
Activities Performed
Organized and coordinated field visits of OPMAC project evaluator, facilitated the meetings with project stakeholders, accompanied the evaluator for site visits to Almaty and Khorgos, supported and facilitated evaluation process, contributed to the preparation of project evaluation report.
