Main Project Features
The project aimed to formulate a comprehensive program document (roadmap) to advance the development of cargo containerization and container transport in Kazakhstan. This initiative seeked to facilitate the import, export, and transit movement of cargo by creating favourable conditions for operators. Additionally, it aimed to expand the reach of exported goods through enhanced rail and multimodal transportation systems, thereby boosting Kazakhstan's logistics efficiency and international trade connectivity.
Activities Performed
Provided assistance to the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan in drafting a comprehensive plan aimed at transforming the cargo containerization and container transport landscape. Actively contributed to outlining strategic goals, objectives, and a suite of political, legislative, infrastructural, service, economic, and technological interventions designed to elevate the country's container transportation capabilities. Provided target indicators and estimated budgets for implementing the activities. Provided overall leadership and coordination of the project team, ensuring effective collaboration and successful project execution.
