Led by an international team leader, a group of 6 local consultants has prepared a long-term development plan with detailed justification and cost tables, comprehensive coverage of institutional changes, and development of the legal system.
Activities Performed
Led and managed the team of 6 national experts in the execution of the following activities: (i) collection and analysis of road/structure condition data, AADT, and road accident data on the republican road network; (ii) an in-deep institutional analysis of road sector governance and Road Asset Management issues; (iii) developing an economic model and criteria for prioritization of road rehabilitation and maintenance works; (iv) preparing midterm financing plans for road sector development to 2015; (v) producing recommendations to improve technical regulation, management, and planning in the road sector institutions; and (vi) conducting regional workshops.
